So I figure that if I just stop eating, I can buy all the art books/computer software/fun goodies I want at an accelerated rate.
But if I'm dead I won't be able to use them.
Wot a dilemma.

Just a Bit of Insight

Thought this was cool and wanted to share.
What words do you see first? Look closer, what else do you see?

On another note, we used a paper towel roll as a rolling pin yesterday. It was cool because it worked.

Ohh Burn!
So I don't know if I've ever mentioned that I work at school. I'm a note taker - meaning I take notes for specific people those who need extra help.
Today when I came into one of the classes I note take for, there was a camera crew in. Apparently they were going to film the presentations for the fashion students' project "Trash to Fash." They take trash and recycle it to make wearable goods.
Anyway, the director was setting up and asked the girl next to me if she wanted to be on camera and that chick said no. Then the director looks me up and down for a moment, and then walks away without a word.
Man what a burn. I guess I stick out as a MAA student. :) Yay me.
On another note, midterms next week! Projects will own me for the weekend.
By the way, I'm turning this into my personal blog and from now on will be posting my artwork at http://scribblesanatomy.blogspot.com instead.

Checking in
Quarter 3's actually been pretty busy for me. :) At least all of the classes are interesting, and doing homework is fun. I don't think I've done this many character turn arounds in a week before... the start of something new :O
Sorry I don't have any new art to post. I actually haven't been on the web too much lately. Mostly I just spend my time watching movies online now and relaxing between homework sessions. My Deviant Art should be hitting 500 deviations or so soon. Oh gosh.
Fabiola moved into my room :O Oh, and I got three new roommates this quarter. Hmmm...
The start of the end of my "social life" is coming to an end. Oh noes.
Back to homework I guess. Sigh :(

Quarter 03 AKA Winter 09
The start of school is just around the corner as my break slowly dwindles into nothing. My break was thoroughly enjoyable, spending most if it with those I love most: my family and my friends.
Winter 09 is going to be a ball. I'll be taking five classes and working two classes at school taking notes (yeah don't ask). To an art student, this basically means the shortening of homework time and more money. On a brighter note, the dreaded "walk to school" will also be over with the year of 2009 due to my brand new Ferrari! ... But I lie because it's not new and it's not a Ferrari. It's a '99 Chevy Malibu. Bite my furry butt - or someone else's furry butt because mine lacks fur.
As for classes, I'm finally out of taking those dreaded fundamentals in which the common person should know! ... Yet apparently my school is full of the uncommon. We are, after all, an art school. This quarter, I'll be doing sweat shop labor in Sculpture, forced to draw until my fingers bleed in 2D Animation, whipped to be sure that I learn the art of Type *cough*, how to Manipulate Images to do my every bidding and lastly how to Design Characters and Objects of mass destruction.
Overall, it means three months straight of little sleep, lots of working and thrills... and it shall commence Monday. Oh, I love our school.

On another note, I've decided to create some 2009 Resolutions for Art.
- Draw backgrounds
- Improve at drawing people
- Draw characters that exhibit personality
- Draw out of the norm - stay away from the familiar
- Make appealing concept art

Vacation
As fun as it would be to spend my entire break blogging, I'd rather sleep and eat.
:) Happy holidays everyone.

Wonder-Week

The week of finals is equivalent to the week of no sleep, fast food, projects and deadlines.
After sleeping at 3am today and waking up at 6:40, it is safe to say that I have begun finals week as it should; that is, barely sleeping the first Monday in order to be completely tweaked while at school. Our friends last night had the absolute audacity to stay until 2am. In all actuality, I cannot recall anything that we really did. I just know it involved four pizzas, six people, attempts to do projects, watching YouTube and lots of laughs.
Having had the first of my finals today, I can happily say that I did poorly on the written part of my Computer Applications exam. Unfortunately, the left side of my brain doesn't function correctly, therefore leaving me to swim helpless to figure what "percent sales" means. I was, however, not the only one to do badly because the highest grade on the scantron part of our class was 83%. It's a good thing that we're here for things besides knowing how to function the hopeless design of Microsoft's newest version of its software.
The nudity that usually bestows me on Monday afternoons in my Drawing and Anatomy class was absent today. Therefore, we were forced to draw from pictures rather than a real model, which more difficult than needed. My hope is that the rendered image I made (left) for the final of will boost my grade to an A. (Please note I did NOT create the design. I copied the picture from another and rendered it. Original picture here: http://kheleksul.deviantart.com/art/Collab-Talim-38726933)And did I mention it rained? The people who say it rains only once a year in San Diego are r-tards because it rained today, again. At least I was able to hobo a ride off of someone, which got me home around 4pm, allowing me lots of time to sleep until now (however my entire sleeping schedule is off now considering my class tomorrow isn't until 1pm). With my free Mountain Dew, given by the SHAC who encourages us to stay awake for five days straight by giving us free energy drinks, I can now return to my Ramen and hotdogs in which is now done. It is time to feast.
Tomorrow I shall be Paris Hilton in pink. With luck, we'll be able to film our act, and I will be able to share a little piece of Acting and Movement with you.
